Anchen is a contemporary South African artist known for her vibrant, emotive work that celebrates the connection between people, animals, and nature. Drawing inspiration from both her South African heritage and the British countryside where she now lives, her art is a fusion of storytelling, bold colour, and emotional depth. She has long been committed to uplifting marginalised voices — particularly women in the arts — through mentorship, collaborative projects, and inclusive exhibitions. She has partnered with organisations such as the Red Cross Children’s Hospital and the Pinotage Youth Development Academy, and previously founded Pretty Pride, a non-profit initiative that used creative expression to foster personal growth and community engagement. Through her own artistic practice, Anchen not only shares her own vision but also creates meaningful opportunities for others, championing the power of creativity to inspire, connect, and transform lives.

As a fine art horse photographer, Esther finds one of the most moving sights in the world to be a horse running free — an expression of pure freedom, spirit, and beauty.
